3 Days with the Lord & My Family

Summer camp is the most special, fun and most of all the most heartwarming time of the year. Each and every one has a lot of experiences during these time. Members enjoy the company of each other, they eat together, talk together, share together and LOVE each just like God loves us. On the first day April 29, 2016 we were able to talk with each other about our experiences during the camp last year, we shared our knowledge to the new members and shared new memories with them. During the session our Pastor, Robert John B. Ciocon, talked about the statement of faith wherein we were able to share our experiences about the people who doesn’t believe in God. Last April 30, 2016 A Devotional early in the morning whom our speaker is Sister Coroy Traifalgar about Asking God’s Guidance wherein I was able to put in my mind that I will always trust in the Lord for he knows all the plans he have for me, plans to prosper me and not to harm me. During tarry night we all have our own experiences and own testimony. For me, I have learned that “Tarry Night” is about waiting for the Lord. Nothing in this world is perfect more than being with the presence of God indeed, we shall be connected with him 24/7. I have experienced that life is about seeking and knowing God more and that life is not just about happiness and blessings it’s also about appreciating all the trials and problems in order for us to be stronger and to sharpen our faith. I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God. I’ve been washed in fountain and cleansed by his blood. A circle of strength and love, our family founded on faith, joined in love and kept by God because nobody is a “nobody” in the family of the Lord. Because we don’t choose our family. They are God’s gifts to you, as you are to them for family is God’s masterpiece. May 1, 2016 – Sunday the newly baptized members of JHF was welcomed in the family of God. 9 candidates decided to follow Jesus and was baptized. They sang “We Are The Lords Own Family” and “Christ is Enough” as I listened to every lyrics of the song it hits me for our God is faithful and true to us. For me, life without God is like unsharpened pencil, it has no point.
